Kuba Szyperski

It's a new season of Twoja Twarz Brzmi Znajomo and Kuba Szyperski is already the breakout star. Over at the The Cover Gurlz, I posted a couple of recent videos of Kuba singing as 2 female vocalists. Great voice! Apparently Kuba has performed in feminine/drag roles in Kinky Boots and Chicago. The Instagram page has pics.

Dueling Grande

 Over at the other blog. The Cover Gurlz, I've previously posted a video of Marek Kaliszuk performing as Ariana Grande on Twoja Twarz Brzmi Znajomo. Recently Stana posted an image from this outstanding performance. Here it is again:

It reminded me that this is a common femulation on these shows. For example, actor Dávid Hartl recreated the same performance on Tvoja tvár znie povedome:

I blogged about another performance but it has disappeared from YouTube, unfortunately. Anyone know where to find it?

Multi-tasking

Supremme de Luxe is sort of the Spanish Rupaul. She is a drag queen, hosts a drag queen TV show, and sometimes sings. 

In this case, she is appearing on one of those "Your Face Sounds Familiar" TV shows, Tu Cara Me Suena. Specifically, in this video, Supremme de Luxe imitates Ava Max on the song "Sweet but psycho."

Marcin Januszkiewicz

These pictures are from the Polish TV show Twoja Twarz Brzmi Znajomo in 2023. Unfortunately, I could not locate video that I could easily put here (but there's one link in the next line). I found images of a Debbie Harry performance, but it was not as interesting to me.

Park's Places

 I have not seen the Netflix series "Cowboy Bebop," and know very little about the Japanese anime original, but there is one bit of information worth reporting. Non-binary actor Mason Alexander Park plays a character named Gren.

From the commercials I've recently seen, I learned that Leona Winter is going to be part of the singing cast on the new US television program Queen of the Universe. It will be on Paramount + starting December 2.

Fantastic look. Sounds feminine, but maybe not exactly like Celine Dion. This was on Twoja Twarz Brzmi Znajomo, which I believe is Polish.

Pandemic Performers

This is Radu Ștefan Bănică performing as Kate Hudson on the Romanian television program Te cunosc de undeva. Radu is singing "Cinema Italiano" from the 2009 film "Nine."

While the world continues to struggle with a pandemic, television programs all over the world are resuming. For example, Tu Cara Me Suena in Costa Rica has broadcast new episodes for some weeks.

The musical duo "Chillax" has performed as Shakira and JLo. The video posted on YouTube is not of high quality, unfortunately. I did find it on Dailymotion:
