Miss Chief Eagle Testickle

I recently learned about Miss Chief Eagle Testickle and thought I'd share a couple of images here. She's the alter ego of Kent Monkman, a Cree and Canadian artist. The puns for mischief and egotistical are intentional, but the purpose is interesting and worth knowing. 

You can find photos and videos of Miss Chief, but the artist is primarily known for inserting her into the art. There's a bit of both on the artist's Instagram page:

Dream Girl 2

Bollywood seems to be making the kind of crossdressing movies that Hollywood used to do in an older era: think Tootsie, Some Like It Hot, Nobody's Perfect, Sorority Boys, or a myriad of lesser films.

This is the trailer for Dream Girl 2. The original movie apparently featured female voice impersonation.

If you like it, YouTube seems to have videos linking to the full-length movie. I also found a dubbed trailer so maybe there's a dubbed full version somewhere if you want that. Netflix India apparently has it, fwiw.

Feeling It

I took advantage of the (too rare) opportunity to dress over the Halloween weekend -- and it felt great. I have a small wardrobe, but I enjoy the occasions when I can dig out my secret stash.

Cillian Murphy

There's a very good chance that Cillian Murphy is going to win Best Actor at this year's Academy Awards for his wonderful performance in Oppenheimer.  He just won the BAFTA.

Miss France!

Recently, on Tubi, I watched model Alex Wetter play the lead role in the 2020 film "Miss." Stana blogged about the film in October of 2020, but I had forgotten completely about it. Watch and enjoy!

The main character dreams of becoming Miss France.  Alex is beautiful throughout the film, but I didn't enjoy all the scenes or connect with all the characters.

 

Here's a classic pic I grabbed from Pinterest that demonstrates this is not the first time Alex Wetter has appeared en femme.

This one provides Audrey Hepburn vibes, I think.

Over on the Cover Gurlz, I once blogged about Japanese guitarist Hizaki. Usually, Hizaki performs in long flowing gowns, somewhat reminiscent of a Parisian gothic look. Just peruse this Instagram account for proof.

Princesses

Decided to reflect on my growth as a cosplayer today and dug deep into my computer (photobooth to be specific) and found quite a few gems, and holy crap I sure have come a long way. Never stop learning, my friends! I've come so far as a cosplayer and I can't wait to see how my skills change farther up the road ✨💙✨ it sounds cliche but I encourage you to NEVER give up, because no matter what your skill sets are you can constantly improve upon them and grow. We all start somewhere! 😊 Now I challenge all my Cosplay, artists, and MUA friends to post something similar! "Change is inevitable, growth is optional" so go on and be proud of how far you have come!

For years, Richard Schaefer's tumblr Ariel's Grotto has been in the right-hand bloglist. You can see his cosplay evolution in the above images.

This past month, Ariel has been the subject of much publicity -- pieces in Cosmo online, The Daily Mail, The Huffington Post, The National Enquirer, etc. That's the kind of attention that helps yield 158,000 followers on Instagram!
